Today's doctor or Chiropractic receives an extensive education background. After 3 years of Pre-Chiropractic study candidates for the Doctor of Chiropractic program enter a four year course of study. Chiropractic education is comprised of similar hours of study relative to human physiology as that of a Medical Doctor. Education differs most significantly in that Medical practitioners will receive training in Pharmacology and Surgical procedures and Chiropractors will receive training in the care of the spine.
